Marvel Premium

The Marvel Premium™ is a microprocessor-based electronic programmable controller with a multi-tasking operating system. This device controls United CoolAir manufactured HVAC systems by use of newly developed Multi-Application software package. This new system replaces all previous applications provided by United CoolAir and are now all bundled into one software package. So this one Multiple Application software packages can now handle standard heating, cooling, dehumidification, humidification. In addition, it can be used on heat pump, Variable Air Volume, and Outdoor Air applications.

Marvel Mini

The Marvel Mini™ is a microprocessor providing a lower-cost alternative solution to the Marvel Premium. This scaled-down version of this device offers a solution for smaller packages. This new system by United CoolAir bundles all previous applications into one software package. Use when there is a maximum of one compressor and heater per unit and using Airside/Waterside Economizer or Chilled Water. Networking is available with Lead/Lag, Unit Backup, Assist, and Unit Rotation. The device can be applied to Constant Air Volume, Variable Air Volume, Heat Pump, Single Zone VAV or 100% DOAS BMS Solutions: (BACnet™ or Modbus®)

Marvel “J”

Discontinued: For use only with legacy units

The Marvel “J” is an electronic programmable controller based on double microprocessor design. This device controls United CoolAir provided air conditioners and air handling systems. For example, this component includes a microprocessor-based Main Board controller, factory mounted and wired internally to the air handling system. Ultimately, this unit is a terminal-based wall mount control, that must be field installed. Furthermore, along with this controller are optional field sensors that must also be field installed. Finally, the UCA factory provides field interface terminal strips wired into the air handling system.

Marvel Plus

Discontinued: For use only with legacy units

The Marvel Plus microprocessor mainboard is a 16-bit microprocessor programmable controller with onboard flash memory (4 Megabytes). An onboard real-time clock maintains programming during a loss of power. Stored in non-volatile memory are all critical control points, such as system setpoints, system schedules, alarm set points, and alarm history. Each Marvel Plus controller has the ability to record up to 50 alarms/faults under an alarm history. So with this, technicians are able to scroll through alarm history to view critical operating data temperatures. Finally, optional discharge refrigerant pressure (units with head pressure control option) at the time of failure.

Marvel “S”

Discontinued: For use only with legacy units

The Marvel S is an electronic programmable controller based on a double microprocessor design that controls UCA-provided air conditioners and air handling systems. The MARVEL includes a microprocessor-based Main Board controller, but factory mounted and wired internally to the air handling system. Therefore, this terminal-based wall mount control must be field installed. Furthermore, along with this controller are optional field sensors that must also be field installed. Finally, the UCA factory provides field interface terminal strips wired into the air handling system.

OA3

Discontinued: For use only with legacy units

The Outdoor Air 3 (OA3) controller is a microprocessor-based control package providing 100% outdoor air, at space neutral conditions. Then as an option, the controls and DOAS System shall have the capability to provide cooling/heating assistance to help maintain space conditions. The OA3 control system consists of the Main Control Board and a remote Wall Mount Control (display and keypad). The On-Board Control (display and keypad) is another option provided instead of, or in addition to the remote Wall Mount Control.
