Bill Of Material Group Member
Job Summary:
Fast paced manufacturing firm has an opening for a BOM member.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Creating and maintaining BOM’s
- General support for manufacturing and sales
- Experience or basic knowledge of air conditioning and its components is preferred
Requirements:
- Knowledge of manufacturing software (Macola or similar) is required
- Candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision
CLOSING DEPT
Job Summary:
Employee is responsible for the final cleanup of production units in preparation for shipment;
- Securing of unit to proper shipping skid
- Armaflex wrapping of all water and suction lines in unit
- Requires paneling up unit with closing panels
- Making up hardware for other jobs
- Labeling of unit for field techs
- Stocking of incoming materials for panels for upcoming jobs
- Making custom brackets for units shipping
ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER
Job Summary:
Wirer needed for air conditioner manufacturer.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of three phase circuits a plus.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Work or School experience preferred.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
HVAC MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY
Job Summary:
Must have mechanical ability and strong work history.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience using power tools (such as air drill, etc.)
- Ability to read tape measure
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HVAC a plus.
TUBING FABRICATOR
Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Measuring, Cutting, Bending and Setting up copper tubing in partially assembled air conditioning units
- Think creatively and good at self-design work
Requirements:
- Must have knowledge of HVAC air conditioning units
- 1+ years of experience in HVAC brazing is desirable
QUALITY INSPECTOR
Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Reporting to the head of quality, perform inspections WIP, and finished units ready to ship
- Label units with assigned labeling following specifications
- Ship items included in specifications along with unit materials
- Verify that all serialized items specified match items entered on sheet
- Verify unit is assembled to specifications and report any issues, discrepancies, or non-conformances.
- Identify and segregate nonconforming material
- Work with engineering, sales and purchasing when necessary to determine if non-conforming product can be used as it, reworked or returned to vendor.
- Complete finished unit release activities following checklist
- Read & interpret blueprints, sketches or product specifications, follow instructions, use basic measurement tools and be organized.
- Create and maintain accurate inspection records
- Maintain compliance with internal requirements regarding inspection methods, procedures and record keeping.
- Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Assist in establishing & updating processes and procedures as required
- Any other quality related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to read blueprints & product specifications
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 30lbs, and be able to stand 8 hours
- Able to perform computer related transactions and assuring inventory accuracy. Proficiency in Office a plus.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be reliable and team focused
