HVAC COPPER TUBE BRAZER

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Set-up and braze copper tubing and components in partially assembled air conditioning units.
  • Position component parts according to the knowledge of the unit being assembled or following blueprints.
  • Remove flux residue, when used, by cleaning joint with a warm wet rag.
  • Repair leaks due to improper brazing.

Bill Of Material Group Member

A fast-paced manufacturing firm has an opening for a BOM member.

  • Duties entail creating and maintaining BOM’s and general support for manufacturing and sales.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software (Macola or similar) is required.
  • Electrical experience and basic knowledge of air conditioning and its components are preferred.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.

ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER

Wirer needed for air conditioner manufacturer

  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
  • Knowledge of three-phase circuits a plus.

Pre-employment physical and drug testing required. First Shift Position


FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving material
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
  • Responsible to stage the assembly lines with metal and purchase parts to build jobs per the schedule
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
  • Securing loads to forklift before transportation
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards
  • Adhering to safety management standards
  • Adhering to production schedules

Forklift Operator Requirements:

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Proficiency operating forklift
  • Good physical condition. Some lifting required but not to exceed 75 lbs
  • Mathematical aptitude
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience

HVAC MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY

Must have mechanical ability and strong work history.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Experience using hand tools
  • Experience using power tools (such as air drill, etc.)
  • Ability to read a tape measure

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of HVAC a plus.

HVAC UNIT-TESTER

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

    • Operating an electronic leak detector and locating leaks with a bubble solution.
    • Operating and setting up a vacuum pump.
    • Verify piping is correct and components are installed in the correct orientation on complex HVAC equipment including and not limited to, hot gas bypass valves, quench valves, reheat valves, check valves, digital compressors, EEV’s, oil separators, suction accumulators, reversing valves.
    • Accurately add a refrigerant charge to a unit.
    • Measure voltage, amperage, calculate watts, measure superheat and subcooling, wet bulb, dry bulb, relative humidity, water temperature, various delta T measurements, CFM, FPM, static pressure.

Requirements:

    • EPA 608 universal certification.
    • College or trade school certificate in the HVAC field.
    • At least 1-year experience in the HVAC field or related field.

Expected Skills:

    • Must have a quality assurance mindset.
    • Must be able to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
    • Must be able to read electrical schematics.
    • Positive attitude a plus.
    • Must be willing to learn new things throughout their career.
    • Must have excellent attendance records.
    • Must be safety oriented.
    • Ability to work alone and stay focused.
    • Must be able to handle stressful situations.
    • Must have a Team Member mentality and be able to work with others when required.
    • Must be able to properly fill out discrepancy reports, process forms, testing forms.
Candidates meeting the minimum requirements will be able to receive in house training to fulfill “Skill-based” requirements.

Request an interview with UCA HR personnel, have licensing and certifications available.
All candidates will be required to take an HVAC competency test.


INCOMING INSPECTOR

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Reporting to the head of quality, perform inspections of incoming parts from vendors to appropriate specifications
  • Perform inspection of WIP parts including sheet metal forming and welding to specifications
  • Identify, segregate, and assist in the disposition of nonconforming material
  • Assist in the final inspection of units when required
  • Read & interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications, follow instructions, use basic measurement tools, and be organized.
  • Create and maintain accurate inspection records
  • Maintain compliance with internal requirements regarding inspection methods, procedures, and record-keeping.
  • Record inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Assist in establishing & updating processes and procedures as required
  • Any other quality-related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of quality inspection experience in weld/sheet metal inspection
  • 2+ year experience incoming inspection and other quality-related duties
  • Must be able to read blueprints & product specifications
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 30lbs, and be able to stand 8 hours
  • Able to perform computer-related transactions and assuring inventory accuracy. Proficiency in Office a plus.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner at all times
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
