New VAV EZ-Fit Series Launched

United CoolAir is please to announce the availability of the EZ-Fit variable air volume (VAV) systems. These are modular floor-by-floor systems specifically targeted for the renovation and replacement markets.

EZ-Fit modules are 10 through 15 tons or 20 through 25 tons. Each module is shipped in three sections. The sections will fit through standard 3-0 doors, into most elevators and down narrow hallways with tight corners. This means that building alterations or modifications are not required to get the unit into the mechanical room.

The modules are shipped with a factory refrigerant charge. There is no need for brazing, evacuation or field charging. Projects can be completed quicker with less disruption to tenants.

Modules can be "ganged" together to get systems up to 100+ tons. Several configurations of units are possible.

Units are available as water-cooled or water source heat pumps self contained units. Air-cooled is available with a remote condenser. Water-Cooled and air-cooled units can be constant air volume or variable air volume. The water source heat pumps are available as constant air volume models.

As with other United CoolAir products, a wide variety of options allow the units to be tailored for your specific application requirements. A plenum fan or Parallel Fan System can be selected in lieu of the standard DWDI belt drive blower. A digital scroll compressor can be included for excellent part load operation.

The unit features and modular construction provide low installed cost advantages.
