United CoolAir Capabilities

The manufacturing facility has been set up to be flexible to handle any type of unit we need to fabricate. Since units are built to order, they are not a commodity type unit with a fixed production line arrangement. The mix of products in production changes from day-to-day.

United CoolAir always carries a high inventory of parts. This allows us to provide even the non-standard unit configurations in a relatively short lead-time. Our long time relationship with parts vendors, such as coil manufacturers, helps us to acquire special or non-standard components quickly.

The in-house sheet metal capability allows United CoolAir to fabricate and stock the standard sheet metal components. When a different air path or cabinet configuration is required, the parts can quickly get released and fabricated. Control package design and microprocessor programming are accomplished in-house to ensure compliance with customer needs. Since only a portion of our units get painted, we rely on local paint vendors to provide us with painted parts. These experts can provide us with the best powder coat finish required.

United CoolAir starts with a standard basic unit and adds options or modifies the sheet metal to meet the specific application requirements. These units are as close to custom as you can get without being custom. However, United CoolAir has also designed and produced unique one-of-a-kind units for specific applications or OEM requirements.

While the United CoolAir units are built-to-order and may contain non-standard arrangements or controls, the components are typically commercial off the shelf (COTS) items. This means that the customer gets a unit tailored for the specific application that any qualified HVAC technician can provide maintenance or service on.
